We’re a Team of Dedicated Experts

GlidePath® is a leading independent developer and owner of advanced energy systems. With more than 3 GW of battery storage projects both operating and in development, GlidePath is one of the most experienced and largest independent energy storage developers in the United States. The company is headquartered in Elmhurst, Illinois. GlidePath has experience in all aspects of renewable energy and storage facilities including greenfield development, acquisition, finance, energy marketing, engineering, construction, operations, and asset management.

The company developed some of the first battery storage projects in Illinois which began providing 80 MW of fast-responding frequency regulation service in 2015.  In addition, GlidePath developed the Jake and Elwood storage projects near Chicago which were the first storage projects to use non-recourse debt financing and benefited from a long-term revenue contract secured by the GlidePath development team. GlidePath also developed and built one of the first standalone storage projects in ERCOT in 2019 and was one of the first developers to meet the requirements to be awarded incentives for 4 projects through New York’s Bulk Energy Storage program.
