Energy Storage News: FERC interconnection reform welcome but plenty of work to do, says energy storage industry

Recent FERC reforms of the grid interconnection process are intended to reduce queue backlogs, improve timing, and better support solar and storage technologies.

Chris McKissack, CEO of GlidePath said, “The increased requirements for both developers and transmission providers are well-intentioned, but time will tell if FERC’s action does result in a better, faster queue process.”
