GlidePath Acquires 25MW Solar Project

A Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners subsidiary, GlidePath Power Solutions LLC (GlidePath), closed on the purchase of the 25.56MW Dandan Solar Project in Guam from a subsidiary of NRG Energy Inc. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The Dandan solar farm has a long-term contact with Guam Power Authority (GPA). GlidePath will own and operate the project and continue to deliver renewable solar energy to GPA. Dandan is the latest addition to GlidePath’s growing portfolio of operating renewable energy assets and its 1 GW greenfield development pipeline of battery storage projects across the United States.

Dandan is a strategic addition to GlidePath’s growing clean energy portfolio and its federal business strategy. Home to critical military installations Naval Base Guam and Andersen Air Force Base, Guam is strategically important to the Department of Defense. GlidePath’s acquisition of the Dandan project maintains American ownership of a key power generation facility on Guam.

With the addition of the Dandan project, GlidePath will own 424 MW of operating renewable energy assets.
